Please take a few minutes to review the pre-selected ozone layer and climate protection photos and to vote for your favorite ones. You can vote for one photo in the ozone layer protection category and for one photo in the climate projection category:
1) Go to www.envcontest.uz and click on "Enter online voting"
2) Then choose category "Climate change in my eyes" and select your favorite photo.
3) Then choose category "Ozone Layer and I" and select your favorite photo.
These 105 photos from 38 countries were pre-selected out of 285 photos received in total. The international photo contest has been organized to raise public awareness on climate change and ozone layer protection issues, and to promote careful attitude towards the environment around the world. For more detailed information, please refer to the website and the attachments.
The deadline for Internet voting is 29 August 2017.

What is sustainable cooling in the EU? A cross-sector perspective (Danfoss)
Description
The first #WebinarWednesday of 2017 will be hosted by energy-efficiency company Danfoss, focusing on how the EU’s new heating and cooling strategy can lead to opportunities for sustainable cooling technology. It will bridge two significant events for the HVAC&R industry, the DecarbHeat Forum (11-12 May) and the upcoming EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW; 19-25 June).
Alix Chambris, Head of Public Affairs at Danfoss; Ingo Wagner, Policy Manager at Euroheat & Power; Thomas Nowak, Secretary General of European Heat Pump Association (EHPA); and Christine Weiker, Secretary General of European Cold Storage and Logistics Association (ECSLA) will offer their expert advice on how the EU's new heating and cooling strategy can lead to opportunities for sustainable cooling technology.
